The Reason for Dark Period

We have to Ponder over the dark period. Chandra sree was the last ruler in the list of Andhra Kings’ clan. He was contemporary who witnessed Alexander’s invasion. He was minor. He was protected by his minister, Chandragupta and commander in Chief Samudragupta. The same Chandragupta was depicted as Maurya chandragupa by the foreign historians. A pundit named Troy requested Maxmuller to correct the mistake in Indian History. He did not agree to that. History of this great Nation continued with the same mistake. Thereafter another pundit, Kuppayya also showed this mistake. Even then it was of no use (9).

There were 48 rulers between Chandra gupta Maurya and Chandrasree Chandra gupta. Because of this same name, the ruling period in between, vanished. That Period joined the Dark Period. This was disclosed by Sree Kota Venkatachalam who wrote many historical works. This is high time for us to set right the mistake.
