Physical Evidence
Our historical heritage is supported not only by textual evidence but also by tangible, physical proof. For instance, Bharata reconstructed Ayodhya; a king named Hasti founded Hastinapura; Emperor Mithi brought the capital city of Mithila into existence; Madhu built Mathura; and Sri Krishna constructed Dwarka. Today, we can still visit these ancient Puranic cities, many of which have retained their historic names with only minor linguistic changes over the centuries.
